Your destination wedding is a once in a lifetime experience. The Wedding Weekend by The Inn on Pamlico Sound is the perfect way to share your experience with up to 200 guests. Our waterfront boutique hotel, ranked #1 on the North Carolina coast* provides the setting.
The bridal party, close friends, and family enjoy the unparalleled hospitality and amenities of our twelve guest rooms, of which the Charlotte Observer said, "A serving of Happiness comes with every room." Guests not staying at the inn may lodge in the charming B&B's, hotels and motels throughout the villages of southern Hatteras Island, or in the beautiful rental homes that keep the Inn company along our waterfront ridge.
Our three acre facility is yours for the weekend.* There are no limitations or start times, stop times, or access to all areas of our facility. Guests of your rehearsal dinner, reception, gatherings, and activities are at liberty to enjoy your event on your timetable, not someone else's. Your guests will be enthralled with the breathtaking views from our soundfront decks, pool pavilion, and dining rooms. Metro Magazine raved that we are "...the prettiest restaurant on the island...dining rooms are open to a magnificent panorama of the sound... prepare to be enchanted." All catering is provided by our renowned Cafe Pamlico restaurant, dining that The Times of London called "fabulous." Our classically trained chefs design menus for your rehearsal and reception dinners unique to the look, feel, themes, and budget of your special weekend. Our three course gourmet breakfast, called "Best on the Outer Banks" by National Geographic Traveler, is included for guests lodged at the Inn and available affordably for your other guests who wish to join in.
The Wedding Weekend is your path to a stress free destination wedding. Your assigned event planner coordinates every aspect of your weekend, from allocation of guest rooms and venue decorating to selection of cake, music, and centerpieces. There are no tents, rentals, or multiple vendors to juggle, and no hidden costs or budget surprises. Our working invoice process features easy to understand, all inclusive pricing with all services backed by our 100% guest satisfaction policy.
The Wedding Weekend is priced by season and number of guests. Base facility charges include the staff event planner, use of the Inn's grounds, tables, chairs, glassware, flatware, linens, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, cake cutting and coffee services.
There are several options for funding your guest's lodging, ranging from "single payer" with a 15% discount on all rooms to reservations made by each guest with our 10% Advance Reservation discount. All guests lodged at the Inn receive our extensive list of amenities at no extra charge, including guest snack baskets, beverage refrigerators, afternoon fresh baked goods, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, bicycles, all beach and pool gear (chairs, umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, mats, etc.), our 14 seat theater, over 1,800 films on DVD, in room cable, television and DVD players, a full package of premium sports, movie, and entertainment programming (theater only), walking and boat docks, 24 hour commercial pool, high speed internet, guest use computers and printer, and outdoor showers and changing rooms.
There is a 3 night Wedding Weekend minimum stay in peak and midseason, and a 2 night minimum stay in off season, with flexibility by guest for arrival and departure dates. The Wedding Weekend package is also available for midweek reservations, subject to a two night minimum stay.
