Welcome
to the Inn on Pamlico Sound, a bed & breakfast inn on the water on North
Carolina's Outer Banks. The Inn provides a casually elegant bed and breakfast
lodging experience in the midst of the natural beauty and pristine beaches
of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Take in the breathtaking beauty of
our location on the banks of the Pamlico Sound while enjoying close proximity
to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean beaches.
Our East building houses seven luxurious king rooms with Italian tile baths and whirlpools, six with panoramic sound views and private porches, our gourmet restaurant, two commercial kitchens, and our private spa room. Our West building provides space for two sumptuous king rooms with private decks and whirlpool baths, three beautiful queen rooms with private baths, our fourteen seat home theater, film and print libraries, and the Inn's offices.
Each morning, you'll be treated to a three course gourmet breakfast. The sumptuous entree might be our raspberry stuffed French toast, Belgian waffles with fresh berries and whipped cream, eggs in pastry, one of our famous strata or souffles, or a dozen other delightful dishes. The main course is complimented by ten or more juice choices, homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, breakfast meats, gourmet coffee blends, and a range of herbal and regular teas. You can stay with us for two weeks and not repeat breakfast once! Join us in the evening for fine dining in our intimate waterfront dining room or on our waterfront decks. If you are vegetarian, vegan, or have special dietary needs, just let us know, and we'll cook around your dietary requirements.
Our goal is to provide for you the experience of an honored guest in our casually
elegant home. Escape to the tranquility of our Hatteras Island inn, and enjoy
the Hatteras Island bed and breakfast experience as it can only be found at
The Inn on Pamlico Sound.
"Splashed with sunlight and local artwork, the barefoot-chic inn is a
bit pricey by island standards, but nearly everything is included.
Borrow a free kayak or bike for a spin, indulge in the complimentary
three-course breakfast by a four-star chef (Belgian waffles, anyone?),
uncork a bottle of fine wine or take in a fiery sunset from your private
deck."
