Shuck Hatteras Oyster Festival

Congratulations to Chef Tanner and Jimmy who brought home the People’s Choice Award from the first annual Shuck Hatteras Oyster Festival. This unprecedented event was held at the KOA Resort in Rodanthe. Along with a full day of live music, there was an oyster cook off where Chef’s and individual’s competed in three categories, including “Best Tasting Oyster, ”People’s Choice” and “Most Creative” and ended with an all you can eat oyster roast. A great time was had by all and excitement is brewing to see what more is in store next year.
