This has to be the CLEANEST place I’ve ever stayed at. Floors were immaculate, linens looked brand new, you can tell they take pride in this place. The staff focuses on the individual needs of the guest and everyone is beyond nice. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Hatteras.

This Inn is exceptional and was the perfect spot to celebrate our 31st Anniversary! Discovered them during Covid though they hadn't opened back up yet. So we're thrilled to be able to finally book a visit. Ashley and Alicia were very helpful and enthusiastic about our upcoming stay. They recommended a room and made the arrangements. On the day of, I called as instructed and Melissa graciously let me know our room was ready for an early check in.

Our room, Morning Glory was lovely, cozy and offered an amazing view of the sound. Melissa went out of her way the first night insuring we had everything we needed. The breakfasts in the restaurant each morning were gourmet! So thankful the chef thinks outside of the "cereal box" and created some wonderful dishes. And we must add they have some of the BEST coffee we've experienced!!
Amy, Jasmine, Aylah , and her sweet mom, Natasha were some of the loveliest and hard working ladies we've met. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our special breakfasts!! And what a treat on the last morning to have live music too.

Their amenities are extensive. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks, paddelboards, pool and yes the yummy treats in the afternoon!!

We were able to extend our stay and though our room wasn't available we were moved to another suite, Sea Oats. A lovely room with a private deck, where we enjoyed a romantic dinner for two at sunset.

Karen, the housekeeper was so sweet and extremely helpful. Even moved all of our luggage when we changed rooms! And made sure we had extra micro popcorn so we wouldn't have to share! ; -) (inside joke!)

And we must mention our conversation with the owner, Steve. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with him about the history of the inn and his vision for giving couples a much needed getaway to rekindle and relax. What a huge blessing!!

Will the Inn on Pamlico Sound be put on our "MUST RETURN" list?!? Absolutely. These folks are family now.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful it is staying at the Inn on Pamlico Sound. From the moment we checked in to the time we had to check out, everything was absolutely perfect. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and always cheerful. I had forgotten my charger for my iPad and they gladly charged it in the office for me. Our room, Hyacinth, overlooked the sound. We had a deck with 2 rocking chairs and a table. It was delightful to sit outside and watch the water. Our room was extremely comfortable with a king-sized bed, chairs, TV (which we never turned on), and the shower was great. Every afternoon the staff puts out a tray of homemade cookies. There's a communal refrigerator in each building. They also have movies you can check out and board games. The Inn is close to the beach. The Inn also provides beach towels, beach chairs, kayaks, knee boards, bikes, life jackets, etc. What a treat!A delicious breakfast is included in the price of the room and each morning the chef had a special omlette and a special pancake. My favorite was the blueberry and strawberry pancake with strawberry butter. Divine! The same restaurant that serves breakfast, also serves dinner. You can eat inside or outside. The dinner menu also has specials and everything was impeccably prepared.

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon two years ago. We visited last year for our one year anniversary and this year to celebrate our second anniversary. Each year we are more and more impressed with the inn. From the outstanding views, to the room services, to the outstanding improvements they make each year. It just blows our minds away how well everything is prepared and laid out. We love it here and plan to come visit each year.

A place to reconnect with yourself. This beautiful place allowed me to enjoy its true beauty. We stayed in the Magnolia Room. The bed is positioned so you wake up and go to bed overlooking the beauty of the Pamlico Sound. The water and marsh colors change throughout the day depending on the light. You can sit back on you’re own covered deck/porch and enjoy the beauty of the sound and watch the sunset unfold. My favorite is sitting on Sunset Point throughout the day. And did I mention this place brings the true stars to light? Just come and watch. Coffee is served just outside your room in the morning. Cookies are served in the afternoon. And, a scrumptious breakfast is served in the morning. Enjoy the pool or sit on the beautiful deck. You won’t be disappointed in this beautiful hotel. Enjoy!
